March 30, 2005 - Contour™ SPS-75 provides maximum package integrity and appearance. Features include patent-pending Smartrak™ Steady Stream Infeed System, which removes gaps that compromise pack pattern accuracy and continuous product flow; patented pinless metering, which uses servo drives to gently meter bottled, cartoned, canned, and jarred products; and patent-pending servo driven wrapping wand that provides improved film control and accurate film placement at speeds to 75 cycles/min.

Alexandria, Minnesota – March 15, 2005 The new Douglas Contour™ SPS-75 Shrink Packer’s new patent-pending tunnel utilizes advanced heat and airflow management technology to deliver tightly wrapped packages for maximum package integrity and appearance.

Contour™ SPS-75 features include the patent-pending Smartrak™ Steady Stream Infeed System, which removes the gaps that compromise pack pattern accuracy and continuous product flow; patented pinless metering, which uses new technology and servo drives to gently meter bottled, cartoned, canned, and jarred products; and a patent-pending servo driven wrapping wand that provides exceptional film control and accurate film placement at speeds to 75 cycles per minute.

The SPS-75 easily handles a wide variety of product types and pack patterns without lengthy changeovers and few change parts, maximizing flexibility.
