LED Status Indicator offers watertight panel seal.
March 22, 2005 - Able to withstand severe environments, Series ML2030E features solid front housing, clear chromate-finished body with black anodized front bezel, and EMI screen. Panel seal is accomplished by one-piece aluminum housing and bezel with flour silicone o-ring. Terminals can be straight leads or solder loops. Standard display colors are red, yellow, and green with option of diffused or non-diffused output. Indicator operates in temperature range of -55 to +100°C.

Rugged Panel Mount LED Status Indicator With Solid Front Design Provides Water Tight Seal
ROLLING MEADOWS, ILLINOIS, USA. L-3 Communications, Electrodynamics, Inc. announces the introduction of the ML2030E Series Led indicators. Designed for use as a status indicator in applications such as aircraft avionics systems, communications systems, test equipment, medical electronics systems, and other electronics systems that are required to withstand severe environments; the ML2030E provides a solid-front housing that insures a watertight panel seal. Ideal for applications where commercial grade components are not suitable, the ML2030E is packaged in a clear chromate finished body and has a black anodized front bezel. An EMI screen is included as a standard feature.
The panel seal is accomplished by means of a one-piece aluminum housing and bezel with a flour silicone o-ring. The dual finish case provides a conductive surface for EMI protection and a black finish for integration into the surface of a panel. The terminals can be either straight leads or solder loops although wire leads and connectors can be added in custom configurations.
Standard display colors are red, yellow, and green with the option of a diffused or non-diffused output. Other colors are available including bi-color LEDs, as well as NVIS compatible, sunlight readable, and IR-secure filtering to meet aerospace and military specifications.
Environmental specifications include test and verification for vibration, shock, humidity, altitude, and salt spray consistent with military, aerospace, and other high-reliability applications. See our data sheet for details. The ML2030E is also designed to operate in a wide temperature range of -55 to +100° C (-20 to +100° C for green).
Standard configurations of the ML2030E are available for approximately $20 with lead-time of six weeks after receipt of order. Consult the factory for price and lead-time of custom configurations.
