March 11, 2005 - Grip & Go™ Quick-Release Handle replaces socket cap screw and wrench in shaft collar applications requiring frequent repositioning. It securely holds collar on shaft, but can be loosened and retightened at will. Available in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, product comes in 4–40 to 5/16–24 in. thread sizes as well as metric sizes from 3MXO.5–6MX1.0. Handle can be used with any standard 1-pc, 2-pc, and hinged-style shaft collar.

Shaft Collar Handle Allows Repositioning Without Tools

A quick-release handle that can replace the socket head cap screw in shaft collars for applications requiring frequent repositioning is available from Stafford Manufacturing Corporation of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford’s Grip & Go™ Quick-Release Handle takes the place of a socket cap screw and wrench in any shaft collar to allow repositioning without tools. Ideal for applications requiring frequent adjustments, this handle securely holds the collar on the shaft, but can easily be loosened and retightened.

Available in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in 4-40 to 5/16-24 inch thread sizes and metric from 3MXO.5 to 6MX1.0, Stafford’s Grip & Go™ Quick-Release Handle can be used with any standard 1-pc, 2-pc, and hinged style shaft collar. Applications include stroke limiters and mounting clamps.
