Membrane System for Mop and Wash Water

Sanborn Technologies, Walpole, MA has introduced the UFV 250/500T Ultrafiltration membrane system as a complete packaged plant to minimize disposal of oily wastewater from manufacturing facilities. Designed for unattended operation, the system includes a mop bucket station to receive water from floor scrubbers or hand buckets. The unit comes with a 180 gallon process tank with level controls and a 50 gallon cleaning tank. A variety of standard options such as transfer pumps and free-oil removal separator are available.

UF technology has been proven worldwide to meet most local discharge standards and is the preferred choice over evaporation technologies for plant managers concerned about the control of air quality within their plants.

Advanced membrane materials and economical system design allow Sanborn's line of UF systems to be suitable for processing oily manufacturing wastes such as used coolants, floor washings, aqueous parts washer discharges and vibratory finishing effluents.

Other system designs range from 50 to 6,000 Gallons per day. All systems are available as free-standing components or can be used in conjunction with existing waste treatment equipment to improve the quality of discharged water.

Sanborn Technologies manufactures a full line of separation equipment employing ultrafiltration and centrifugal technologies.
