Electronic Controller addresses package boiler management.
February 23, 2005 - Model 2704BC addresses all aspects of package boiler control, including pressure, level, and total dissolved solids control. Able to be connected to conductivity probes that measure TDS levels, unit's control algorithm provides TDS control through activation of continuous blowdown valves. Configurable graphical display shows multiple control functions, and product can be configured as combustion controller, 3-element level controller, or plant/boiler master.

Eurotherm Releases Package Boiler Controller at AHR Expo
LEESBURG, VA, USA, 7 February 2005 – Eurotherm, a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial instrumentation for process control and data acquisition products, and a unit of Invensys plc, announces the release of the 2704BC Boiler Controller at the AHR EXPO in Orlando, Florida. The 2704BC is a comprehensive electronic control solution that addresses all aspects of package boiler control including pressure, level, and total dissolved solids control.
The 2704BC has the ability to be connected to industry standard conductivity probes that measure TDS levels. Once measured, the 2704BC advanced control algorithm provides precise TDS control through the activation of continuous blowdown valves. Bottom blowdown can also be automated through the use of the 2704BC real-time clock.
The 2704 offers a configurable graphical display technology that allows multiple control functions to be displayed in a user friendly manner. The 2704 also offers significant flexibility. In addition to comprehensive package boiler control, the 2704 can also be configured as an advanced combustion controller using cross-limiting and oxygen trim, a 3-element level controller, or a plant/boiler master.
