New Extender Series Conveyors Minimize Downtime, Labor & Loader Use

MORRIS, MN. – The new Extender Series of telescoping conveyors, manufactured by Morris, Minn.-based Superior Industries, eliminate the downtime, labor and loader use that is associated with moving and adjusting multiple transfer conveyor units to meet stockpiling needs. Offering producers the timesaving flexibility to automatically extend and/or retract one adjustable conveyor unit. Additionally, the portability factor of Extender Series models allows for significant savings in time, labor and freight costs.

The Extender Series includes three models: 1) the Extender conveyor with a hydraulic extend on the head for 150-ft of total extension; 2) the Extender conveyor with a tail fold which features a hydraulic extend on the head and a 50-ft power fold on the tail for 200-ft of total extension, and; 3) the Extender conveyor with hydraulic extend on the head and an 80-ft slide on/off conveyor for 225-ft of total extension. All models are road portable and can operate at capacities up to and exceeding 1000 TPH.

Extender Series models comprise a main conveyor and a telescoping conveyor which the producer can adjust to any desired length via its telescoping mechanism. The stinger telescopes in and out with a hydraulic cable winch system. Its axle assembly consists of a hydraulic raise package on the main frame, a 9 HP Honda gas engine, and a valve package to operate the winch and the hydraulic raise on the axle.

Superior Industries offers a comprehensive line of conveyor systems, equipment and components for sand gravel, aggregate, mining, concrete, asphalt, recycling, civil and marine engineering, wood, pulp, and paper, chemical processing, electric utility, coal, grain, and other processing industries.
