Gas Burner suits industrial/commercial applications.

January 19, 2005 - HDS Series improves operational performance of fire-tube boiler by widening differential between high fire and low fire. It offers 10 to 1 turndown, UL/cUL approval, and NOx levels of 20 or 30 ppm with Induced Flue Gas Recirculation. Removable burner drawer and flame shaping capabilities of combustion head add to product performance. Burner horsepower ranges from 200-600 hp with UL/cUL approval and up to 1,200 hp for gas, oil, or combination fuels.

Webster Introduces Series HDS Industrial/Commercial Burner

Webster Engineering & Manufacturing has introduced the HDS Series Industrial / Commercial Burner. The HDS offers 10 to 1 turndown and UL/cUL approval. The HDS series improves operational performance of a fire-tube boiler by widening the differential between high fire and low fire allowing the user to keep the boiler warm and ready to provide heat. In the past, the burner/boiler system would shutdown on low demand forcing the need to purge combustion air and "warm up" the boiler upon restart, thus wasting energy.

Another important benefit of the HDS series is that it offers NOx levels of 20 or 30 ppm with Induced Flue Gas Recirculation to meet most state air quality standards. Burner horsepower ranges from 200 to 600 with UL/cUL approval, but available up to 1200 horsepower for gas, oil or combination fuels.

The key to the HDS's success lies in the flame shaping capabilities of the combustion head along with tight control of all the various inputs. Other features of the HDS include lower motor HP for reduced electrical costs, removable burner drawer and various access covers to aid in maintaining the burner.
