Delaire USA Offers RF Solid State Switch Modules

Manasquan, New Jersey, November 1, 2004: Delaire USA, Inc. introduces RF Solid State Switch Modules. The RF Solid State Switch Modules (RF SSSM) are designed to provide low loss high speed switching capability for analog and digital applications. The RF SSSM is part of M31’s family of RF switching components that provide a range of products that can be selected depending on the needs of the customer. The switch module bandwidth extends from DC to 1000 MHz. The bandwidth can be designed over a specific range or over the maximum range depending on the switch module selected. Applications include RF signal switching for in service and test equipment. A DB-9 or DB-
15 connector is used to supply power as well as the switch control signals depending on the size of the switch element. The characteristic impedance of the system is 50 ohms (75 ohms is also available). BNC, SMA and other connector types are available.

Applications:

• General Purpose RF Switching

• Antenna Switching

• Automated test and Measurement

• Filter Selection

• Transceiver Front End Switch

• Signal Monitoring and Routing

Features:

• Wideband Switch: -3 dB @ 4.5 GHz

• Absorptive/Reflective Switches

• High Off Isolation (37 dB @ 1 GHz)

• Low Insertion Loss (0.8 dB @ 1 GHz)

• Single 5 Vdc Supply

• TTL/CMOS Control Logic

• Low Power Consumption (< 0.25 W)

• Terminated Ports

Options:

• Custom Mechanical Design & Layout.

• Customer specialized testing and calibration can also be supplied.
