Westinghouse Digital Introduces LCD Monitor Chassis for Commercial Applications

Company’s First Industrial Monitor Line Features HD-Grade™ LCD Panels

CES 2005, LVCC South 2, Booth #25218 – Westinghouse Digital Electronics, the fastest-growing LCD TV provider in North America[1] and exhibiting at CES 2005 in Las Vegas this week, today introduced a new line of industrial display chassis with HD-Grade™ LCD panels, bringing the reliability, quality and consistency of supply that are the hallmark of Westinghouse products to commercial applications.

With advanced video performance once exclusive to LCD TVs, Westinghouse LCD industrial monitor chassis offer premium customized display solutions needed for the growing commercial application of large LCD products in kiosks, gaming devices, electronic signage and more.

“In a little over a year, Westinghouse Digital has grown from product launch to the sixth-largest LCD TV provider in North America,” said Douglas Woo, president of Westinghouse Digital. “We believe the consistent high quality and value of our products we have successfully delivered to the retail channel will translate well in the commercial space.”

“With LCD panels’ thin form factor and space-saving wall mounting, commercial applications have been growing rapidly,” Woo said. “Westinghouse LCD display components offer systems integrators and VARs the quality product and brand to meet this demand.”

Specifications for the initial 17- and 19-inch monitors include:
