December 29, 2004 - Manufactured in DO35 package for PCB mounting, Diode Type (DT) Thermistor Series has glass sealed body with 0.20 in. tin-plated leads. Thermal sensor, suited for household appliance applications, works in temperatures down to -58°F and offers tolerance ranges of ±1%, ±3%, and ±5%. Dissipation value is 2.4 mW/C in still air with typ thermal time constant of 15 sec. Resistance values of 25°C are available from 1K-47K ohms. Max power rating is 250 mW @ 25°C.

Selco's New Diode Type Thermistor Series Offers High Temperature Capabilities in Convenient DO35 Package


ANAHEIM, Calif. - Dec. 21, 2004 - Selco Products Company has introduced a new Diode Type (DT) Thermistor Series, a highly reliable thermal sensor suitable for use in a variety of high temperature and household appliance applications.

These new DT thermistors offer a wide operating temperature range of -58°F to 482°F (-50°C to 250°C) and feature a glass sealed body for high reliability and stability. Designed in a DO35 industry-standard package for convenient PCB mounting, other outstanding features include robust design and excellent thermal cycle endurance.

Performance characteristics include standard tolerance ranges of ±1%, ±3%, and ±5%, and a dissipation value of 2.4 mW/C in still air with a typical thermal time constant of 15 seconds. Resistance values of 25°C are available from 1K ohms to 47K ohms. Maximum power rating is 250 mW (at 25°C). The DT Series is manufactured with 0.20" tin-plated leads.
