Weld Control manages process throughout weld cycle.

December 9, 2004 - Inverter welder HF27 gives manufacturers complete 360° monitoring of all weld parameters, including current, force, displacement, time, and energy. Combo control mode uses real-time feedback to monitor and regulate critical weld parameters. Welder can be set to control voltage at beginning of weld and switch to constant current once pre-set current level is reached, allowing process to be tailored for positioning or contaminant issues and weld splash prevention.

New HF27 Weld Control Provides Comprehensive Process Management Throughout the Weld Cycle

MONROVIA, CA – November 11, 2004 – Unitek Miyachi is pleased to introduce the HF27 high-speed precision inverter welder. Based on the industry-leading HF25's proven technology, HF27 delivers an unprecedented combination of process control capabilities giving manufacturers complete 360-degree monitoring of all weld parameters including current, force, displacement, time and energy.

HF27's advanced "combo control" mode uses real-time feedback to monitor and regulate critical weld parameters. The welder can be set to control voltage at the beginning of the weld and then switch to constant current once a pre-set current level is reached. This unique ability to switch feedback modes during the welding pulse allows the process to be tailored for dealing with positioning or contaminant issues and preventing weld splash.

Unitek Miyachi designs and manufacturers a full range of resistance welding and reflow soldering power supplies, heads, monitors and accessories for both large scale and fine spot applications requiring precision metals joining. The company offers applications development support at no charge. Company Headquarters is located at 1820 S. Myrtle Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016.
