Unitime Systems Introduces Incentive Tracking Feature For Its Automated Timekeeping System
BOULDER CO, December 1, 2004: Unitime Systems, Inc., has introduced the Points Manager feature for its UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System that automates employee incentive policies as part of the manufacturer's daily time-and-attendance tracking. Points Manager, fully integrated within the latest version of UNITIME, helps manufacturers reduce absenteeism and increase productivity by rewarding appropriate conduct.
Points Manager automatically records infractions-like unexcused absences, tardies and long work breaks-and assigns "demerit values" to them. Penalties occur when an employee reaches a predefined limit of demerit values. Similarly, Points Manager enables the manufacturer to reward employees who don't accumulate demerits or lose points over a specified time period. Points Manager can accommodate almost any policy (for demerits, points, incentives, etc.) established by the organization.
Manufacturers that employ UNITIME Version 6.5 with Points Manager can avoid the inefficiencies and errors that typically result from using decentralized, paper-based methods of tracking employee conduct and incentives. Points Manager resides within the UNITIME graphical interface and integrates with the manufacturer's daily time and attendance workflow. It uses the Version 6.5 database (for hours worked, exceptions, employee data, etc.) and is accessed through its menu system.
"In addition to reducing absenteeism and other 'negative' behavior, Points Manager can help an organization increase workforce productivity and morale," said Doug Peterman, Unitime Systems president. "Employees know that their 'positive' behavior will be rewarded and that the company is applying its policies consistently and fairly."
Points Manager includes six extra reports that help managers analyze companywide employee-behavior trends and occurrences.
