New HID Lamp and Ballast Systems from EYE Lighting International of North America Provides an Economical Way to Update HID Lighting Systems
CLEVELAND -- EYE Lighting introduces its new HID Lamp and Ballast Kits to provide a convenient and economical way to update high intensity discharge (HID) lighting systems. The ballast kits are ideal for use by contractors or industrial users in warehouse, manufacturing, retail, parking, security and landscape applications. Typical uses include updating an existing lighting system for energy-savings, replacing failed lighting system components, and for retrofitting one lighting system to another without an expensive and time consuming fixture replacement.
The new HID Lamp and Ballast Kits are available in a variety of different lamp options, including standard, high performance, and energy-saving versions. Recommended lamps available include Metal Halide 70- to 1500-watt lamps; Ignitron™ HPS with internal starter 50- to 1000-watt lamps; High Pressure Sodium 50- to 1000-watt lamps; and Mercury 175- to 1000-watt lamps. In addition, HID ballasts are available in a variety of shapes and sizes for the most popular lighting applications to fit in existing fixtures.
Each kit includes, a core and coil ballast with QUAD multiple input voltage connections rated for 120, 208, 240, and 277 volts, or ballast rated for a single input voltage of 480 volts; a capacitor to regulate power and improve the power factor of the ballast; an igniter to provide a high voltage pulse to start the lamp; mounting brackets and fasteners; and choice of lamp.
EYE Lamp and Ballast kits are made in the United States, compliant with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) approved and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) listed. Each kit features a two-year limited warranty.
