November 10, 2004 - Abrasion- and tear-resistant Dur-X-Ultra Flex is made of proprietary rubber formula that delivers flexibility needed to prevent sticking problems and keep wet materials from blinding over screens. Used in medium- and light-duty applications, self-cleaning rubber screen does not require stopping of production to unplug screens. Available in modular or tensioned screens, it is offered with square openings from 2.5–11 mm.

LUCK, WI – To prevent screen blinding and increase throughput in highly moist and sticky applications, Durex Products, Inc. introduces Dur-X-Ultra Flex, one of its latest innovations to its line of self-cleaning rubber screen media. Combining extreme resilience with superior abrasion and tear resistance, Dur-X-Ultra Flex is made of a proprietary rubber formula that delivers the extra flexibility needed to prevent sticking problems and keep wet materials from blinding over screens. There is no stopping of production to unplug screens; material flow increases and carry-over and contamination issues are reduced. Used in medium as well as light-duty applications, Dur-X-Ultra Flex offers more open area than conventional polymer screens and is field-proven to last up to 20 times longer than other screening media alternatives. With longer wearing Dur-X-Ultra Flex, producers minimize the labor and costs associated with frequent screen media change outs.
