Columbia® Introduces Deluxe Adjustable Bucket Seats on Passenger Vehicle Line

First major manufacturer to offer adjustable, automotive seating to low speed vehicle market

Reedsburg, WI - November 2, 2004: Columbia ParCar Corp. announced today, deluxe adjustable bucket seats are now available across their entire passenger line of low speed vehicles. The new adjustable seat provides approximately five inches of travel, includes folding armrests and is available in a variety of fabric and color choices.

"No major low speed vehicle manufacturer of golf cars, neighborhood electric vehicles or personal use transportation offers this feature," said Scott Breckley, Columbia's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Like an automobile, each front seat occupant can tailor the span between the seat and control pedals to fit their own unique requirements. Adding this to plush cushions and folding armrests provides a level of customer comfort not available anywhere else," he added.

Columbia's adjustable bucket seats are factory installed as standard on the company's Summit(TM) passenger models. They are available as factory installed options on their other passenger vehicle models. The seat slides on an automotive style, steel track and is positioned by a release lever located under the front cushion. Seats Incorporated, another member of the Nordic Group of Companies, designed, configured and now manufactures the new seat especially for Columbia's low speed vehicles. Seats Incorporated is a Wisconsin based manufacturer of seating and related products for heavy duty trucks, emergency vehicles, delivery vans, medium duty motor coaches, locomotives, construction equipment, and other over the highway and off highway vehicles.
