IDEAL Introduces New Line of Contractor-Grade Heat Guns

SYCAMORE, IL, October 28, 2004 Building upon its already established line of contractor-grade hand tools, IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. today unveiled its Heat Elite Series, a new family of heat guns featuring responsive controls, ergonomic design, and high-quality construction to meet the varied needs of the professional contractor.

Whether shrinking pipe, bending PVC, striping paint, or soldering wires, the new IDEAL Heat Elite Series is the perfect tool to address a wide range of needs. By featuring double insulated power cords, non-slip handles, well-balanced weight distribution, and the endorsement of a UL/CUL Listing, each of the three guns ensure safe, efficient use that outperforms the competition.

Although the guns are compact and designed to work in smaller, tighter spaces, IDEAL did not skimp on features for its Heat Elites. Sure to be valued additions to any tool bag, the three guns that comprise the line are:

HEAT ELITE: Designed to handle basic applications, the lightweight and powerful Heat Elite features two temperature settings - 660ºF and 930ºF. This entry-level model also has a two-step "on/off" temperature and airflow control switch.

HEAT ELITE PRO: Any professional can appreciate the Heat Elite Pro's stepless temperature adjustment dial well suited for precision heat jobs. The dial enables a variable temperature range from 180ºF to 1020ºF. And like the original Heat Elite, the Heat Elite Pro features a two-step "on/off" temperature and airflow control switch.

HEAT ELITE PLUS: The flagship of the Heat Elite line is the Heat Elite Plus. With an LCD digital terminal independently controlling its temperature and its airflow, the Heat Elite Plus provides a premium level of accuracy. Seven preset application functions allow the user to automatically configure settings for shrinking, forming, welding, soldering, paint stripping and drying at the touch of a button.
