Workgroup Printers suit color and black-and-white jobs.
November 1, 2004 - Featuring printing rates to 25 ppm, Infoprint® Color 1464 and 1454 are suited for color and monochrome printing. Former comes with 6,000 print toner cartridge, while latter comes with 3,000 print toner cartridge. Both printers feature 600 MHz PMC-Sierra RM7065C processor; 128 MB memory, upgradeable to 512 MB max; IPDS color printing; and Ethernet capabilities. First page out time is as fast as 13.0 seconds (monochrome) or 15.0 seconds (color).

Infoprint Color 1454 and 1464 Provide High-Speed Printing for Both Color and Black-and-White Jobs
Overview
The IBM Infoprint® Color 1464 and 1454 are replacements for IBM Infoprint Color 1354 and 1354L workgroup printers. These new printers offer faster printing of up to 25 pages per minute (PPM)1 for color and monochrome printing. They offer a high-quality, medium-volume color print solution with flexible paper handling and networking options.
The Infoprint Color 1464 comes with 6,000-print toner cartridge and a wide range of paper handling options. The more economical Infoprint Color 1454 comes with a lower capacity (3,000-print) toner cartridge and fewer paper handling options.
The Infoprint Color 1454 cannot be upgraded to an Infoprint Color 1464. Both printers come with:
· A 600 MHz PMC-Sierra RM7065C processor
· 128 MB of memory standard (512 MB maximum)
· Ethernet standard
· First page out time as fast as 13.0 seconds for monochrome, 15.0 seconds for color
· Optional Token-Ring, Ethernet, and wireless Ethernet connectivity options
· Full IPDS™ color printing for text, image, bar code, and graphics data

Both printers offer full IPDS color printing.
