Lumacolor™ Photometer Proxy
By popular demand Gigahertz-Optik premiers a new generation replacement for the Tektronix J18 LumaColor™ Photometer covering commercial, industrial, automotive and aircraft lighting applications as well as television, display and photographic equipment manufacturing and service applications.
GO’s GJ18 system consists of a X1-1 Optometer and one or more interchangeable GJ18 series detector heads including the GJ1803 Luminance, GJ1806 Radiance, GJ1810 Color Chromaticity/Color Temperature/Luminance, GJ1811 Illuminance and GJ1812 Irradiance Detector Heads. Detectors feature a rubber suction hood that allows attachment to the test surface with push button vacuum release for easy detachment without harming the display screen or panel.
Adding a Gigahertz-Optik integrating sphere expands system capability to include luminous (lm) or radiant flux (W) measurement. Accessory front-end tubes allow average luminous intensity measurements to be performed according to CIE Publication 127, Methods A & B.
The hand-held ergonomically designed X1-1 optometer features a high contrast 4-line LCD with detector ID enabling simultaneous operation and display of up to four detector inputs for measurement of color chromaticity coordinates x,y and u’,v’, illuminance/luminance, correlated color temperature, UV-Vis-NIR irradiance/radiance and luminous/radiant power.
Other features include, autoranging from 0.1 pA to 200 uA, Run/Stop dose function, selectable integration time from 20 ms to 1 second, on/off backlighting, computer control and power via USB interface with free USB cable, hard case and DLL file. Optional Windows based software is available.
The X1-1 Optometer price is $813, GJ18 series detectors range from $600 to $1700.
