Heated Gas Dryers handle gas flows up to 1.5 Lpm.

October 21, 2004 - Series MDâ„¢ Dryers combine Nafion® technology with heating element to dry hot, wet, sample gases prior to analysis. Nafion technology selectively removes only water from samples gases, leaving rest of gas sample unaffected. Dryers remove water directly from vapor phase, preventing loss of water-soluble gases through dissolution in condensate. Available for use with 110 or 220 Vac, or 12 Vdc, units can dry gases with as much as 30% water by volume.

Perma Pure Introduces new Heated MDâ„¢-Series Gas Dryers

Toms River, NJ (September 22, 2004) – Perma Pure LLC, a leader in gas conditioning introduces the new heated MDâ„¢-Series dryers. This compact unit combines Nafion® technology with a heating element to dry hot, wet, sample gases prior to analysis, increasing sample accuracy and reducing damage to downstream analysis equipment.

The heated MD-Series gas dryers were specifically created to dry gas samples with dew points higher than ambient temperature, without requiring separate heating elements or insulation. Proprietary Nafion technology selectively removes only water from samples gases, leaving the rest of the gas sample unaffected. Unlike chillers and condensers, Perma Pure’s MD dryers remove water directly from the vapor phase, preventing the loss of water-soluble gasses through dissolution in condensate.

Designed to handle gas flows of up to 1.5 lpm, the heated MD-Series gas dryers can dry gases with as much as 30% water by volume. Higher water contents can be treated with minor factory modifications. The compact design can be incorporated easily into analyzer cabinets or used as a stand-alone device. The dryers are available for use with 110 or 220 VAC, or 12VDC. For more information about Perma Pure’s new Heated MD-Series dryers, please e-mail Perma Pure LLC at info@permapure.com, visit their website at www.permapure.com, or call 732-244-0010.
