High Flux Emitters suit illumination applications.


October 20, 2004 - Operating at forward currents to 150 mA, Cotco Dorado LD701 High Flux LEDs feature 7.0 x 7.0 mm molded lens package with 100° viewing angle and exposed pad design for heat transfer. Featuring InGaAlP technology, emitters meet demands of automotive and outdoor applications. Units are available in yellow and red with operating temperature of -20 to +80°. They are also suited for backlighting, architectural lighting, signage, and display and task lighting.

Menands, New York: Marktech Optoelectronics today announced the availability of its new Dorado High Flux LED series. The Cotco LD701 High Flux LED series offers high reliability and is ideally suited for illumination applications. High efficiency InGaAlP technology makes them well-matched to meet the demands of automotive and outdoor applications. The Dorado High Flux is designed to operate at forward currents up to 150mA for a luminous output that is equal to or greater than the competitions offerings. The LD701 series features a 7.0 x 7.0mm molded lens package with an exposed pad design for excellent heat transfer. This design greatly enhances thermal performance resulting in a longer product lifespan. The Dorado is also ideal for backlighting, automotive signal lighting, architectural lighting, display and task lighting and an ever expanding array of signage applications
