DC Servo Motor includes integral analog tachometer.

Press Release Summary:

Measuring 2.14 in. dia x 5.96 in. long with 0.375 in. dia stainless steel output shaft, Model MMP-C21.175E-24V.T-03 requires 3.4 A at 24 Vdc to generate full power. Integral tachometer provides positive, linear feedback signal for closed-loop servo applications at rate of 3 Vdc per 1,000 rpm of rotation. Delivering 80 W of continous output power at 5,000 rpm, motor is rated for 30 oz-in. of continuous torque and 180 oz-in. peak torque.

Original Press Release:

DC Servo Motor/Tach, the Model No. MMP-C21.175E-24V.T-03

Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Servo Motor/Tach, the Model No. MMP-C21.175E-24V.T-03. Accepting 24 VDC Power, this DC Motor measures just 2.14" in Diameter, by 5.96" long, and has a Stainless Steel output shaft of 0.375" diameter. Mounting is accomplished with 4 "face mount" # 6-32 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 1.531" Diameter Bolt Circle.

The integral Analog Tachometer is commonly used to provide a positive, linear feedback signal for "Closed Loop" Servo applications at a rate of 3 Volts DC, per 1000 RPM of rotation.
The motor is rated for 30 Oz. In. of continuous torque, and 180 Oz In. Peak. Despite it's compact size and weight, the Motor is capable of delivering 80 Watts of continuous output power, at 5000 RPM, and is an efficient design, requiring just 3.4 Ampere at 24 Volts DC to generate full power, and the 3.0 V/Krpm analog Tachometer is integrated into the design, for a complete package, which is available FROM STOCK..

Typical options available with this Servo Motor include integral Optical Encoders, Failsafe Brakes, and Planetary Gear heads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, with optional low backlash precision gearing available. A "NEMA 23" Flange mount also available. Compatible Servo Amplifiers are also available FROM STOCK.

The company offers a variety of standard ancillary equipment including multi-axis drive and control configurations,
DC power supplies, DC servomotors and gear-motors. Custom Motor Shaft and mounting configurations are also available. Typical applications include Battery Operated Motors & E.V. drives, Medical, Mobility / Accessibility products, Robotics & Automation including Ordnance Disposal Robots, Semiconductor Processing Equipment, Actuators, Packaging & Labeling Machines, Metalworking Machines, and many other applications requiring precise motion control.
