Screen Door keeps pests outside.

October 15, 2004 - Flyweight screen door keeps out pests, dust, and debris while letting in fresh air and light. Held securely on each side by extruded aluminum guide track, door rolls up to be completely out of the way. Door Puts Pests in Their Place - Outside

(Sussex, WI) The new Flyweight screen door from TKO Doors is the easiest, most-affordable way to eliminate what’s bugging operations that want to save HVAC energy.

The FlyWeight door keeps out birds, flies, moths, mosquitoes, gnats, wasps and other pests – plus dust and debris. Best of all, the door lets in fresh air and better light; and it offers up increased security and comfort plus improved productivity. Packaging plants, food distribution warehouses, bottling plants, printing plants — facilities nationwide — will discover the heavyweight benefits of the FlyWeight Screen Door.

The FlyWeight door is incredibly convenient. When the door rolls up it is completely out of the way. According to TKO Doors Vice-President of Sales Jody Becker, “the FlyWeight door delivers non-stop operation as these screen doors are held securely on each side by an extruded aluminum guide track.

To adapt to any doorway the track is available with inside-the-door standoff mounting, in-jamb mounting or exterior wall face mounting.

The door has four power options to match the needs and budget of the operation ...

Motorized – offers two motorized versions: an In-Tube Motor (ITM) or an External Continuous Duty Motor (ECD), and is designed for frequent opening and closing (ITM not recommended for opening more than eight times per hour). The screen is operated from the provided rocker switch, and both motors have up and down limit switches. The ECD model includes an emergency chain hoist.

Spring Tube Model (STM) – rolls on a spring action tube, with two handles to manually pull the screen to the down position. Two latches are provided to hold the screen down securely.
Chain Hoist Model (CHM) – operates like a traditional chain hoist roll-up loading dock door.

All FlyWeight doors are equipped with horizontal stiffeners that offer greater stability in windy conditions, while horizontal safety stripes allow workers to instantly spot if the screen is in the down position. Screens are available in several colors, and replacement screens, when needed, are easy to install.

A leading innovator in doorway products, TKO Doors designs, manufactures and markets to growing companies and facilities world-wide.
