Batch Ovens Include Unique Oven Management System

The Watch Dog Oven Management System is included free-of-charge on all Wisconsin Oven brand batch ovens. It includes a digital process timer, an hour meter, a "phone home" auto dialer, and it is guaranteed for the life of the oven!!

This process timer is designed for the batch oven process, with the operator in mind. Wisconsin Oven combined a micro-processor with their expertise of the oven industry. The Watch Dog timer unit has a large LED display for better visibility from across the shop. Time-In and Time-Out are displayed, along with the time remaining and the present date and time. Additional time can be easily added to the process time, during, and even at the end of the process. The timer is adjustable from 1 minute to 99 hours & 59 minutes (or 4 days, 3 hours & 59 minutes). If desired, it can be configured to display in military time.

The hour meter is integral to the process timer and is designed to help your preventative maintenance program. The Watch Dog keeps track of elapsed time from the date of shipment and accumulates the time when the oven is in operation. An LCD indicates service intervals at 500 hour increments, prompting maintenance personnel to perform the recommended service (as listed in the equipment instruction manual).

The “phone home” auto dialer feature of the Watch Dog System is designed to maximize production and minimize down-time. The Watch Dog will dial up to 3 stored telephone or pager numbers (16 digits each) to notify you if a malfunction has occurred. This feature monitors the key functions of the oven so you don’t have to! Whether it’s an extension in the same building or a pager on your maintenance man’s belt, the Watch Dog will guard against wasted time.

The Watch Dog is guaranteed forever, unconditionally, for the entire life of the original equipment in which it has been installed.

The Watch Dog is just one of the features that helps set Wisconsin Oven apart from others. We invite you to contact us at (262)642-3938, or by email at sales@wisoven.com, for all your heat processing needs.
