October 7, 2004 - Constructed with thermoplastic elastomer material, SVF-1 has design that provides spring-like shock absorption. It can be installed by hand and accommodates panel thicknesses from .012–.169 in. by offering use of various mounting options. Uncompressed height of foot is .32 in. with diameter of 1.5 in. It is suited for applications with significant movement and vibration, such as in digital video recorders, players, cooling fans, and HDDs.

CHICAGO, IL – September 30, 2004 - - Shock and Vibration Dampening Foot (SVF-1) To add to Richco's extensive line of Bumpers & Feet, Richco is pleased to announce the launch of the SVF-1, a shock absorption and vibration dampening foot. The SVF-1 is ideal in applications where there is a significant amount of movement and vibration such as in digital video recorders, players, cooling fans, and hard disk drives. The uniquely designed shape in combination with a thermoplastic elastomer material provides spring like shock absorption reducing and vibration dampening characteristics. The foot is designed to be easily installed by hand, and can accommodate varying panel thicknesses, from .012" to .169", by offering the use of a range of mounting options. Using a Richco SR Series Rivet or a #8 screw will lock the foot into place in your application. The uncompressed height of the foot is .32" with a diameter of 1.5".
