ST. LOUIS, MO — The VacXtract is a patented vacuum extraction unloading device specifically designed for improving productivity on twin spindle CNC lathes. This piece-removal system is robust in its construction, smart in its design, compact in size and boasts quality in its workmanship. Until now, a limiting factor on large work piece production with CNC lathes was that the operator’s need to idle both spindles while the part was unloaded by hand or ejected into a part unloader. VacXtract’s unique system removes work pieces through the rear of the right spindle in under two seconds. This allows the left spindle to continue to work during the unloading cycle, maximizing the time the lathe is cutting. Customers report production increases as high as 150% over previous methods. The VacXtract is programmed via the lathe’s own CNC control.
