May 2004: Clinton, Connecticut: Cleveland Eastern Mixers is pleased to announce the availability of the BRX mixer for low shear, high flow applications. Developed in conjunction with a leading pharmaceutical protein manufacturer, the BRX is ideally suited for sanitary and research environments where small, valuable batches require Tricloverâ„¢ mounting. Applications include solids suspension, blending, chemical reactions and promoting batch uniformity.

More economical and compact than other sanitary mixers, the modular design can accommodate from 1/8â€“1 HP motors. The mixer is suitable for batch sizes between 20-250 liters. The BRX is currently used in pharmaceutical, food & dairy, and chemical processing applications. Mechanical or lip seals are available and a variable speed drive is optional. For those requiring paint-free equipment, an all-stainless motor is also available.
