OGP SmartScope Apex 200 - High Accuracy Fixed Lens, Multi-Sensor Measurement System
Rochester, NY, September, 2004 - Optical Gaging Products, Inc. (OGP®) SmartScope® Apex 200 offers uncompromised performance in a fixed lens measurement system. SmartScope Apex 200 provides the resolution and magnification to image and measure the finest details, powerful metrology software for full 3D part characterization, with multi-sensor capability.
SmartScope Apex 200 is the metrology solution for high magnification video, multi-sensing, and micro-probing applications. Its selectable auto-sensing quick-mount fixed magnification lenses offer on-screen magnifications ranging from 84x to 2100x, giving Apex fixed lens precision and application versatility. Apex also features a high resolution grayscale camera, precision staging, and up to 0.04 micron XYZ scales for ultra-high accuracy.
SmartScope Apex 200 has built-in structural integrity to further enhance its accuracy. It features a granite base and guide ways, as well as a unique granite column. This provides a metrologically stable measurement platform for its DC servo driven mechanical bearing XYZ stages. Dedicated high speed electronics and multiple programmable illumination sources also contribute to this high-accuracy metrology platform.
SmartScope Apex 200 offers XY area accuracy of E2 = (1.2 + 2L/1000) microns, and a Z accuracy up to E2 = (1.0 + 6L/1000) microns.
For added application versatility, SmartScope Apex 200 can be optionally equipped with various multi-sensors such as touch probe, laser, and micro-probes — including the new OGP Feather Probe™ and Rainbow Probe™ for measuring tiny or fragile parts. MeasureMind® 3D MultiSensor metrology software provides full multi-sensor support, keeping track of all data points and placing them accurately in 3D space. System capabilities are further enhanced with software options that include form fitting, SPC, CAD translation, and custom report generation.
