September 15, 2004 - Isolated machine tool transformers, available with lead wires, terminal blocks, lead screws, and other configurations to suit user needs, come in models from 0.025–5.0 kVA. Offered in UL/C-UL Recognized and Listed configurations, products have Class 130 and UL Class 180 Insulation Systems, respectively. All models feature 240/480 V, 50/60 Hz primary windings, with optional 208 V tap. Dual 120/240 V secondary windings are standard.

Isolated Step-Down Transformers Ideal for Machine Tool Applications

Cincinnati, OH – Foster Transformer introduces a line of Machine Tool transformers with the industries widest range of lead configurations available, including lead wires, terminal blocks, lead screws, and other configurations to suit specific customer needs. These transformers are ideal for Machine Tools, Industrial Controls, Automation Equipment, and other Commercial and Industrial Equipment applications requiring an isolated step down transformer.

Models from 0.025 kVA through 5.0 kVA are available in UL/C-UL Recognized and Listed configurations. UL Recognized models are offered with Class 130 Insulation Systems while the Listed models feature UL Class 180 Insulation Systems. All models feature 240/480 V, 50/60 Hz primary windings with an optional 208 V tap. Dual 120/240 V secondary windings are standard. An optional Electrostatic Safety Shield is also available for increased isolation and safety. IEC, EN and CE compliant designs are available.

Foster Transformer has been making electronic transformers, power supplies, and electromagnetic components for nearly 70 years. Their corporate headquarters, Engineering Lab and primary manufacturing facility is located in Cincinnati, OH. The ability to manufacture their own tooling, fixtures and unique production machinery, allows Foster to provide quick turnaround, start-up and support low-to mid volume from the Cincinnati plant.
