Pacor Introduces New Micromat™ HVAC Equipment Liner
Pacor, Inc., a leading fabricator and distributor of insulation products for the OEM industry, introduces its new MICROMAT™ HVAC Equipment Liner. Ideal as an acoustical control and thermal liner for HVAC equipment, the liner greatly reduces air friction and damage, and can be used in a variety of applications including air conditioners, furnaces, VAV boxes, Roof Curb applications, and other HVAC equipment.
Flexible and resilient, MICROMAT™ is composed of borosilicate glass fibers that are incombustible and non-hygroscopic. The liner will not support fungi or vermin and is unaffected by oil, grease and most acids. Available in a variety of densities and thicknesses, MICROMAT™ is resistant to air erosion and abuse, and is easy to handle, fabricate and install. In addition to its standard dimensions, the liner can be made into specially-cut pieces and shapes to meet customer specifications.
MICROMAT™ is a high tensile strength blanket that can be fabricated without breakdown or sagging from vibration and settling. The HVAC liner has been tested and conforms to the physical properties and regulations of ASTM C1071-2000.
