Hancor’s StorMaster™ Storm Water Chambers Combine Increased Capacity with more Efficient Design Flexibility
Findlay, Ohio, Aug. 31, 2004 — For years, engineers and contractors have counted on Hancor’s LandMax® as the standard in storm water retention/detention systems, delivering superior performance and service life while reducing the land and maintenance requirements associated with alternative above-ground ponds. Now, in addition to our proven LandMax pipe systems, Hancor proudly introduces an alternative chamber storm water management system: StorMaster.
Injection molded, in a striking blue high-density polypropylene, StorMaster chambers are by design, engineered to ensure uniform sidewall leaching ports on each unit. Moreover each chamber achieves greater capacity over those competitive products currently available on the market, yet takes less space on the job site enabling engineers to better meet the challenges of each project design.
“One of Hancor’s accomplished goals in manufacturing the StorMaster product was to make it the easiest and most efficient chamber on the market for contractors to install. Each StorMaster chamber is 50 inches long and weighs 43 pounds, which allows for one-person handling. Chambers are available with prefabricated inlets and are equipped with an exclusive carrying handle that promotes safe, quicker installations. Designed with more inspection/vent ports promotes greater jobsite and future maintenance flexibility,” said Hancor’s Jerry Powell, National Storm Water Product Manager.
Installed StorMaster chambers overlap one complete corrugation with the next unit to provide a secure and structurally sound connection. Headers and a full line of fittings are available to complete any total system design. More information is available at www.hancor.com.
