August 17, 2004 - Blu-Mol® quick change bi-metal hole saw system changes between accessories including hex shank screwdriver bits, spade bits, drill bits, masonry bits, and wood bits. Universal adapter fits 3/8 and ¼ in. straight or power grooved hex shanks, and can also be used with Speed-lock, DEWALT, Bosch, and other brands of hex shank power tool accessories. Also available, hole saw conversion kit converts 2-piece hole saws to Blu-Mol quick change system.

Kennametal Industrial Products Group Introduces a Blu-Mol Quick Change Bi-Metal Hole Saw System

Augusta, Ga. - July 30, 2004 -Kennametal Industrial Products Group (IPG) has introduced a new quick change bi-metal hole saw system under the Blu-Mol® brand. "The new quick change system is the only universal adapter that fits both 3/8" and 1/4" straight or power grooved hex shanks," said Phil Cowan, Kennametal IPG product manager for saw blades.

"The quick change universal adapter quickly and easily changes between power tool accessories including hex shank screwdriver bits, spade bits, drill bits, masonry bits and wood bits," said Cowan. The system can also be used with Speed-lock, DEWALT, Bosch and most other brands of hex shank power tool accessories.

Also available is a hole saw conversion kit, which converts 2-piece hole saws to the Blu-Mol quick change system.

Blu-Mol is a brand of Kennametal IPG, a business group of Kennametal Inc. Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
