HVAC Equipment Liner offers thermal/acoustical insulation.

August 17, 2004 - Composed of borosilicate glass fibers that are incombustible and non-hygroscopic, Model CM-26 will not support fungi or vermin and is unaffected by oil, grease, and most acids. Blanket resists settling, sagging from vibration, and damage from impact. Countless air spaces provide sound absorption, reducing perceived noise from air movement and mechanical equipment. Insulation forms around corners and curved surfaces and can be cut with knife or die-cut press.

LIT Industries Introduces New CM-26 HVAC Equipment Liner

LIT Industries, Inc., a leading supplier of insulating products for thermal and acoustical applications, introduces its new CM-26 HVAC Equipment Liner. Ideal for applications that require high thermal and acoustical efficiency in a minimal space, the insulation is most commonly used in a variety of appliance, equipment, office furniture, HVAC and pipe wrap kit applications.

Flexible and resilient, CM-26 is composed of borosilicate glass fibers that are incombustible and non-hygroscopic. The blanket features high thermal efficiency, superior acoustical performance, strong tensile strength, a uniform density distribution and is extremely easy to handle. The liner will not support fungi or vermin and is unaffected by oil, grease and most acids. In addition, the blanket resists settling, breakdown, sagging from vibration, and damage from impact. The countless air spaces in CM-26 creates effective sound absorption, and perceived noise from air movement and mechanical equipment is noticeably reduced.

The CM-26 HVAC Equipment Insulation forms easily around corners and curved surfaces and is readily cut in die-cut presses or with a knife. The insulation is available in a variety of densities, thicknesses, widths and roll lengths; custom facings and fabrication can be applied to meet specific service conditions and performance requirements.
