Oseco to Debut High Performance Rupture Disk at ISA Expo

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (August 2, 2004) – Leading rupture disk manufacturer Oseco will be launching its new PRO+ (precision reverse operating) rupture disk at ISA Expo 2004, Automation&Control. This new high performance disk will be the highlight of Oseco’s pressure relief exhibit during the Expo, which runs October 5-7 at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas. Show attendees can get a first look the PRO+, gather information about custom engineered pressure relief products and register for a prize give-away at Oseco’s booth, number 2550.

The PRO+ disk features a 95% operating ratio to guard against fatigue and premature disk rupture in demanding pressure applications for both gas and liquid services. It is the only 95% operating ratio disk on the market that operates without the use of cutting teeth. This one-piece design and smooth surface to the process prevent product buildup. With burst pressures from 8 to 750psig, the PRO+ is compatible with a broad range of applications, performing consistently in both high and low pressure environments.

Oseco’s precision engineered rupture disks, explosion vents and rupture panels protect piping, reactors and other pressure vessels in a variety of manufacturing and production settings from overpressures which can lead to explosions. Disks and panels can be paired with Oseco’s sensors and alarm systems to form a complete bursting notification system.

At the show, visitors can register to win a flat panel TV. Entry forms will be available at Oseco’s booth until the winner is drawn on the last day of the show.
