Rittal’s Universal Release Handle Adds Flexibility To Industrial Enclosure Options
SPRINGFIELD, OH, July 2004 – Rittal Corporation announces the new Universal Release Handle, designed to operate in conjunction with Rittal’s CP-Vertical Pendant Arm systems. This new release mechanism increases the variety of enclosure options available to specifiers and end users of plant floor operator interface devices.
The new handle is designed to release the locked pendant arm, enabling the operator to effortlessly reposition the control panel to a new height or position. The handle can be installed in several locations on the enclosure. This offers motion control for the operator as well as flexible height adjustment.
Previously only available for wide bezel versions of the VIP enclosure, the new Universal Release Handle and the CP-Vertical Pendant Arm can now be used on all VIP models. Ideal for flat panel or CRT-based systems up to 16 inches deep, these enclosures are available in a variety of sizes, trim colors and styles. The handle and arm also can now be used with Rittal’s lightweight Optipanel enclosures for small flat panel operating units, as well as Rittal’s Command Panel enclosure designs.
