Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter

As part of its new concept for ultrasonic flow monitoring devices, SICK MAIHAK recently introduced the FLOWSIC 600 Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter. The FLOWSIC 600 Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter measures the actual volume flow rate, actual accumulated volume, gas velocity or velocity of sound in gases with high measurement accuracy over wide measuring ranges. This ultrasonic gas meter is the first meter of its kind that can operate under high pressure and ambient pressure. As a result, it can be calibrated with ambient air, thereby cutting calibration costs by up to 90%. Special materials make the FLOWSIC 600 ideal for flows with high dynamics and for use in a wide temperature range.

Advantages:

• 1-4 measuring paths

• No moving parts, no wear-and-tear

• Overload protection

• Wide measuring range

• No pressure loss, non-intrusive meter

• Bi-directional measurement

• Standard sizes – 3” to 16” (inquire about special sizes)

• Standard ANSI flange ratings from 150 lb. to 600 lb.

• Compact, durable, low maintenance
