Product Applications: Beacon I.Q. On Board is an ingenious, one-of-a-kind LED-signaling device, which instantly, automatically troubleshoots the most common problems with outdoor pole- or building-mounted commercial light fixtures.
I.Q. On Board is standard new or retrofitted to any Beacon lighting fixture, for providing at-a-glance diagnostic information, particularly useful in large or crucial installations where reliable operation of outdoor area and streetlights, and immediate, accurate diagnosis of problems, is essential.
Product Description: Beacon's exclusive I.Q. On Board technology connects directly to fixture ballast compartments. Problems can be spotted from pedestrian or vehicular levels, as soon as they occur.
When the lamp does not go on, a LED will light (steady or blink) if the failure is due to the lamp; if the LED does not go on, that means the ballast has failed. I.Q. On Board saves time, money and resulting problems, allowing the correct component to be repaired without delay when light fixtures are out.
Construction and Finishes: I.Q. On Board wires into the ballast
compartment of any Beacon outdoor lighting fixture. The small red LED lamp visible on the exterior of the fixture is discreetly positioned at the base of the ballast compartment. A silicone gasket assures a watertight seal around the LED.
