Undershelf Ioniser from TBA ECP Eliminates Electrostatic Fields

July 2004: Static control specialist, TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has launched a new undershelf ioniser designed for use with the company's range of workbenches or as a retrofit on existing workstations. It is ideal as part of an integrated electrostatic control system as described in BS IEC 61340-5-1 PT 1:1998.

The new ECP I 214 undershelf ioniser provides a non-contact solution to the problems caused by electrostatic fields within electronics EPAs (electrostatic protection areas). It can also be used in many other industrial applications where static is a problem.

Designed for whisper quiet operation, the ECP I 214 provides a high level of ESD protection and excellent workstation coverage. The ioniser features automatic balancing and shutdown operations, three-speed airflow and sensors to monitor ion output and pin contamination.

Quick and easy to install, the ECP I 214 is an extremely cost-effective solution to many static control problems and is highly effective at reducing quality defects resulting from electrostatic discharge (ESD).

The new ECP I 214 undershelf ioniser complements TBA ECP's extensive range of static control products that includes flooring, ionisers, packaging and storage systems, grounding products, work surfaces and work stations, instrumentation, coatings and complementary services such as quality audits. The company is capable of delivering floor-to-ceiling static control solutions encompassing everything required in ESD protection areas.

TBA Electro Conductive Products is a specialist manufacturer of high quality electro static protection (ESP) and electro magnetic interference (EMI) shielding products.
