CODESOFT 7.1 label design software includes new usability and update features...
MILWAUKEE - July 21, 2004 - TEKLYNX® International, the world's leading developer of software products for the AIDC marketplace, today announced CODESOFT® 7.1 label design and integration software with major enhancements over earlier versions. CODESOFT is available in three versions; Sprint, Premier and Enterprise. The CODESOFT Enterprise version, which, in October of 2000, became the first label design software product to support RFID label printing, now offers additional industry-leading RFID enhancements, including:
· An easy-to-use interface for RFID tag setup and programming
· The ability to use a graphical tag image that appears as a watermark on labels to protect against printing over and damaging the RF tags
· An RFID label printing solution to enable read/write printers to read the data back from the label at print time to log the exact information stored on each label.
In addition, CODESOFT 7.1 users will always have access to new RFID printer drivers and tag formats through TEKLYNX' DSP (Driver Service Pack) free online service. CODESOFT Enterprise adds new activation process
CODESOFT 7.1 Enterprise introduces a new method of software activation which replaces the conventional hardware protection key (dongle) that was previously required to run the software. The activation process is simple, and requires only that users validate the license on their PC using the activation code they receive with the installation CD. With this new software activation process, they no longer have to worry about hardware key connection problems or key failure issues.
"CODESOFT 7.1 represents an evolution of a leading label design and integration product to position it for the expanding RFID market," commented David Pettiford, TEKLYNX global product marketing manager.
