July 15, 2004 - With speeds to 30 cycles/min, Contourâ„¢ Series S-30 Shrink-Wrapper features scalable heat tunnel with heat and airflow management funtions. Machine also includes servo-driven wrapping wand and function-specific electrical cabinets. Velocityâ„¢ Servo Carton Stacker provides continuous product flow to 600 cartons/min. Tool-free changeovers are accomplished via adjustments and interactive steps provided through machine's HMI.

Alexandria, Minnesota – July 12, 2004 -

Douglas will exhibit the NEW Contour™ Series S-30 Shrink-Wrapper and Velocity™ Servo Carton Stacker at the upcoming Pack Expo 2004 in Chicago, Illinois, November 7 –11.

The Contour™ Series S-30 features several innovative patent-pending technologies. The revolutionary scalable heat tunnel’s unprecedented heat and airflow management ensures excellent bull’s-eyes and minimum graphic distortion. A flexible servo driven wrapping wand maximizes size range capability, increases film control, and accurately places film. Innovatively designed function specific electrical cabinets provide simple program changes and convenience. Speeds are to 30 cycles per minute.

The patent-pending Velocityâ„¢ Servo Carton Stacker is sixty percent faster than traditional stacker designs, providing continuous product flow to 600 cartons per minute. Tool-free changeovers are accomplished with simple adjustments and interactive steps through the Human Machine Interface.
