New Heavy Duty SCARA Robot from EPSON

Carson, CA. --- July 11, 2004 --- EPSON Robots released the E2H853 Heavy Duty SCARA robot. With a 20 kg maximum payload and an incredible 0.45 kgm2 moment of inertia, the E2H853 is the ideal robot for applications with heavy payloads and/or large moments of inertia. The E2H853 comes standard with the easy to use EPSON RC+ software and powerful RC420 Controller.

“Our robots have an excellent reputation in the 3 to 5 kilogram payload market,” said John Clark, the National Sales Manager of EPSON Robots. “Engineers told us that they wanted this same 24/7 reliability in a SCARA robot with more muscle. The E2H853, with its heavier payload capabilities and super strong moment of inertia, is what they asked for.”

EPSON Robots is the global leader in easy to use high speed, high precision robots, PC-based controls, and related factory automation equipment. Our products reduce the time and money required to implement flexible automation. More than 17,000 EPSON Robots are used in the aerospace, appliance, automotive, biotechnology, computer components, consumer products, electronics, fiber optics, food processing, medical device, pharmaceutical, photonics, plastics, semiconductor, and telecommunications industries.
