New KSI Optical Table With Tuned Damping Offers Low Cost Laboratory Performance
BOSTON, MA — The laboratory-grade 5100T Series optical table is the newest addition to the vibration-damping VIBRAPLANE line from Kinetic Systems, Inc. (KSI). Designed for precision laboratory applications in the optics field, it features both tuned and broadband damping and is available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations.
Constructed to exacting standards, the 5100 Series table offers a flat, stiff, highly damped surface with high natural frequency. Tabletops are available in lengths to 20’, widths to 6’, and thicknesses to 36”. Standard tabletops have a ferromagnetic stainless steel top skin, a carbon steel bottom skin, and the proprietary epoxy-bonded steel honeycomb SPILLPRUF™ core design that seals entire rows of mounting holes to protect the core from accidental spills and simplify cleanup. The 5100T is Class 100 Cleanroom compatible. Class 10 is available as an option.
KSI optical tables can be easily customized. In addition to special shapes, cutouts, and notches, there are numerous options for the table’s core and skin materials, including aluminum, nonmagnetic stainless steel, and Invar. Accessories include laser ports, shelves, tabletop enclosures, retractable casters, and modular splices for joining tables in “L”, “U”, and “T” configurations.
KSI offers the most competitive list pricing in the industry.
