Power Measurement Introduces ION EEM Enterprise Energy Management Software
VICTORIA, BC (June 23, 2004) Power Measurement today announced the next generation of web-based enterprise energy management software: ION(R) EEM. The ION EEM software is designed to help large energy consumers reduce energy-related business risks by controlling energy and operations costs, enabling better procurement strategies, and maintaining reliability. Optimized for commercial office and retail property applications, ION EEM offers key performance indicators, plus benchmarking, forecasting, and control capabilities that can also benefit universities, industrial and research facilities, health centers, and utilities seeking to boost profits and productivity.
Backed by Power Measurement’s ION intelligent metering hardware, and fully compatible with legacy meters and automation systems, ION EEM’s unique browser-based “dashboard” delivers timely and actionable information that facility and energy managers need to make informed energy decisions in real time. As the primary interface to the energy assets of an entire property portfolio, the software automatically collects meter data and continuously analyzes, aggregates, normalizes and reports enterprise-wide consumption for electricity and all other utilities. Weather, real-time pricing and other relevant data feeds can be integrated with the system. The software automatically validates energy data and all other data feeds to ensure that information is trustworthy and accurate for bill verification and tenant sub-billing purposes.
