Software offers grayscale conversion and toolpath creation.

June 29, 2004 - BobART system, integrated into Solid Modeling CAD-CAM system, allows user to load jpeg or bitmap program, turn it into grayscale image, and create 3D profiling toolpath directly from image. Once abovementioned process is completed, toolpath can be machined with necessary post processor.

BobCAD-CAM has just released their NEW BobART system, integrated into their Solid Modeling CAD-CAM system. This allows the customer to load a jpeg or bitmap program, turn it into a grayscale image and create 3D profiling toolpath directly from the image. Once this is done, the toolpath can be machined with the necessary post processor required! It's fast and very easy to use.
