Binks Announces New Manifold Automatic Gun for Exceptionally Fine Finishing with Equipment Application Flexibility

Ideally-Suited for Multi-Gun Finishing Equipment in High-Production Environments

June, 2004, Glendale Heights Binks has announced the MAG AA Air-Assisted Airless Automatic Spray Gun, with a unique manifold-mounted design that aids in faster maintenance changeover. The MAG AA also provides advanced spray consistency, design simplicity for reduced maintenance time and expense, and reduced overspray.

"Combining the air assisted airless design with a manifold automatic gun platform provides the ultimate solution for multi-gun finishing equipment. Now we can offer the exceptional high transfer efficiency expected of Binks equipment along with reconfiguration options to other applications without disturbing the settings," said Chuck Scott, Marketing Manager. "This gives the user the power to provide the best finish while keeping maintenance and equipment costs to a minimum."

The Binks MAG AA features time and material saving advantages, including:

• Integrated in-line fluid filter, with no need to remove the gun body when changing filters

• Modular design for quick and easy replacement

• Easy mounting to other gun base configurations

• Component cartridge design for quick and easy repairs

• Superior transfer efficiency

• Reduced overspray

• Reduced bounceback

• Longer wear part service life

Typical applications include wood finishing, leather tanning, metal furniture and fixture manufacturing, fabricated metal manufacturing, and recreational products.

The MAG AA Air-Assisted Airless Automatic Spray Gun will be featured at the Binks Exhibit Booth (Booth 2325) during the August 26-29 2004 International Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Fair (IWF).

Binks pioneered the development of liquid spray finishing technology over 100 years ago and continues to set the standards for industrial spray finishing.
