New ARPAC-HANAGATA L-Bar Series Design with Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC

June, 2004 - Schiller Park, IL - Arpac Group is pleased to introduce the new ARPAC-HANAGATA L-Series automatic L-sealer design. At speeds up to 45 packages per minute, the ARPAC-HANAGATA L-Series intermittent motion automatic L-sealer is compact in design and provides a cost-effective shrink wrapping solution for all industries. Producing fully enclosed shrink-wrapped packages, this machine provides quick product and film changeovers through simple adjustments. The new L-Series features:
o Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC's for optimum machine performance
o Guillotine style seal head creates a consistent seal for enhanced product appearance
o User-friendly control panel with color touch-screen, storing up to 16 different product parameters for fast and repeatable set-up, and hardy manual push buttons.
o Innovative pinch roller that gently pulls the "raw" shrink film ahead of the seal bar, virtually eliminating film breaks and costly downtime.
o A stroke limiting adjustable seal height centering the seal for faster production speeds.

Typical applications include printed materials, multi-packs, DVD's, knockdown boxes and a host of retail packages. The VISION SERIES shrink tunnel (option) features a quality viewing window and illuminated shrink chamber.
