A Cut Above in Power and Operator Convenience

John Deere Introduces the 4000 TWENTY Series Compact Utility Tractors

Consumers looking for value in their next tractor purchase need to look no further than the John Deere 4000 TWENTY Series Compact Utility Tractors. With increased power, improved
comfort and high versatility, this tractor solution is capable of achieving the toughest projects on both the home site and the worksite. After test-driving these tractors, consumers will agree that the bar has been raised.

The first compact utility tractor with a John Deere engine and an automotive-style diagnostic control center, the 4000 TWENTY Series is packed with improvements and features designed to handle the toughest jobs all in a day's work.

All four models in the series - 4120, 4320, 4520 and 4720 - are equipped with a John Deere 2.4L turbo-charged engine, offering up to 21-percent more horsepower and up to a 30-percent torque rise providing more power on demand. A high-efficiency cooling system, heavy-duty crankshaft and an engine oil cooler add more effective heat rejection for increased durability and performance.

The eHydroâ„¢ electronically controlled transmission is standard on the 4720 and optional on the 4120, 4320 and 4520. All eHydro models feature operator controls that provide easy electronic engagement of PTO, cruise control, and our industry exclusive LoadMatchâ„¢. The LoadMatch feature automatically adjusts the transmission to put the power where it is needed regardless of the task at hand - preventing stalls and making even the least experienced operator look like a pro.

The improved operator station features a digital instrument panel with a performance tracking system, allowing operators to monitor all tractor functions with the touch of a button. New
features include a digital hourmeter, digital speedometer (eHydro only), an air filter restriction indicator, an LED indicator showing when 4WD is engaged, and a diagnostic control center to alert the operator to any problems. The attractive styling offers more than just good looks - a one-piece hood design tilts up for easy access to battery and engine compartments, eliminating the need to remove side panels and offering improved serviceability. The sloped hood design provides better visibility during loader operation, and wide-angle halogen lights offer improved light dispersion during nighttime operation.

For added operator comfort, TWENTY Series models are equipped with tilt steering; a deluxe, high-back seat; ergonomically designed, color-coded controls; wide-open operator stations;
improved lighting; and convenient left-side service checks. With operator presence systems and a sturdy folding ROPS structure as standard equipment, the TWENTY series meets SAE and OSHA standards, maximizing the safety of the operator.

Also available on every model of the 4000 TWENTY Series is the John Deere iMatch© quick-coupler hitch system. This implement attachment system provides versatility and ease of use when changing rear implements. The iMatch system converts a typical 3-point hitch system to fixed hooks with attaching points, allowing operators to simply back the tractor up, raise the 3-point hitch and slide on the PTO shaft.

Implements for the 4000 TWENTY Series include: loaders, backhoes, front and rear blades, field cultivators, disks, mowers, rotary cutters, posthole diggers, rotary brooms, snow blowers, and rear tillers.

4120 CUT

4720 CUT

The 4720 CUT features a 4-cylinder, 58-hp (gross) turbo-charged John Deere engine and a standard eHydro transmission.

The TWENTY Series tractors provide the power to make it happen. With standard 4WD, turbocharged engines, dual mid selective control valves, and a 13.2-percent increase in hydraulic flow, these machines are loader-ready and can take on the challenges of any environment to get the work done. In addition, the TWENTY Series value extends beyond the tractor with a 3rd year
powertrain warranty, lower maintenance cost, improved implement and attachment offerings, available John Deere Credit financing, and the optional John Deere Maintenance Plan Plus
(JDMP+) - all backed by the best dealer and parts network in the industry.
