Pressure Compensation Seal optimizes acoustic performance.

June 15, 2004 - Self-adhesive Pressure Compensation Seal (PCS) allows sound waves to permeate material without distortion or attenuation. It compensates excess pressure or vacuum in electronic components while preventing moisture from entering housing. Seal is suitable for any device equipped with speaker or microphone, such as cell phones, video and camcorders, and dictating machines.

Acoustic Pressure Compensation Seals for Loudspeakers and Microphones

Schreiner ProTech has developed a self-adhesive Pressure Compensation Seal (PCS) that allows sound waves to permeate the material without any distortion.

PCS’s are needed to compensate excess pressures or vacuums in electronic components while preventing moisture from entering the housing.

As standard materials would impair acoustic performance, Schreiner ProTech has developed a special Acoustic PCS which neither attenuates nor distorts sound waves.

Schreiner ProTech’s Acoustic PCS is the ideal solution for any device equipped with a speaker or microphone, like cell phones, video and camcorders, dictating machines, etc. Moisture protection is particularly important for outdoor use. Schreiner ProTech’s Acoustic PCS offers optimum protection with full acoustic performance.
