Cleveland, OH – Adalet now has the solution for those looking to use RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 serial data in Class I Division 1 explosionproof areas. The Adalet Wireless XANT Division 1 data transmission system features a data transceiver which is a master, slave, and store-and-forward repreater/slave all in one. They support data communications as well as MODBUS and Allen Bradley DF1 packet communications and can self-heal (reroute) in repater networks. The Adalet Wireless system is UL classified
The Adalet Wireless XANT explosionproof wireless I/O system is Patent Pending and includes an explosionproof cast aluminum enclosure designed to house a transmitter and antenna. A receiver and antenna is included loose with the packaged system. The ruggedized, cast aluminum enclosure is impact resistant to UL / CSA requirements and includes an integral wire sealing chamber, eliminating the need for a field installed poured sealing fitting.
A second model, the Adalet Wireless N4ANT is also available for industrial or general purpose areas rated NEMA 4X where ruggedized protection is important. Both models provide a wireless solution thus reducing installation labor costs and eliminating the need for conduit and wires in hazardous or other industrial locations.
