System Controller can communicate with host computer.

May 20, 2004 - The 9500 System Controller can communicate with host computer and perform program editing at host computer. Its 9500-FW-MP-SER-PC firmware upgrade allows unlimited programs to be stored at host computer. Data transfer is done via serial or USB port with adaptor, allowing user to move programs back and forth between 9500 and host. Its 9500-FW-PC-EDIT software upgrade allows user to create and edit welding programs at host computer.

Irvine, California – March 15, 2004 – The 9500 System Controller now has the capability to communicate with a host computer. Two upgrades are available, communication with the host computer and program editing at the host computer. These upgrades can be easily retrofitted to existing 9500 controls in the field.

The 9500-FW-MP-SER-PC firmware allows unlimited programs to be stored at the host computer. Data transfer is via a serial port or USB port with adaptor allowing the user to move programs back and forth between the 9500 and the host. The 9500-FW-PC-EDIT software allows the user to create and edit the welding programs at the host computer.
