New Drill Bores Up To 9X A Holes Diameter

Schaumburg, IL... Komet of America, Inc. introduces the new KUB Centron(TM) drills to their KUB® Drill Team. The KUB Centron has an extended range to 9X the holes diameter with a product range of 20 mm to 45 mm (0.787" to 1.772").

The KUB Centron(TM) drills extend the long and successful era of the KOMET V46/V47 style drills. The Komet Group, specialist in demanding hole machining and internal machining, has now completely revised this product family. Concentricity has been significantly improved by design modifications and improvements in production technology. In practice the Tool life of the center drill was improved by up to 25 times. The newly designed connection between drill head and basic element allows a significantly higher torque transmission and an enormous improvement in efficiency for the tool. Coolant supply with direct application onto the face surface of the tool has been changed which ensures optimum coolant flow for the cutting edge. The new KUB Centron drills are also suitable for extreme application areas such as difficult materials or with interrupted cut and as a result increases production reliability.
